Meet Dr. Haylee
Hello, I’m so glad you’re here. My name is Dr. Haylee Haskin. I am a licensed naturopathic physician in Vancouver Washington, providing patient centered primary and adjunctive care to patients. I completed a 4-year doctoral program at the oldest naturopathic medical school, National University of Natural Medicine in Portland, Oregon. Prior to naturopathic medical school, I received my bachelor’s degree in Biology from Western Washington University.
My love of naturopathic medicine first developed as a patient. My story began like many others; after jumping between countless practitioners without any answers. Through support from my naturopathic physician, I was able to determine the underlying causes of my symptoms, and begin to heal my body naturally.
I am passionate about working with entire families; from 1 month old, into childhood and beyond into adulthood. My other passions include treating the underlying causes of common dermatological conditions and improving the health of people’s skin, as well as supporting the health of common women’s health complaints. I have a passion for helping people achieve their health goals, whether it be to help them heal from acute and chronic illnesses, to obtaining wellness and preventing diseases in the future. I would love to work with you and your family to provide support and education for your health and wellbeing.
Education
A licensed naturopathic physician (ND) attends a four-year, accredited graduate-level naturopathic medical school and is educated in all of the same basic sciences as an MD. Education also includes studies in holistic and nontoxic approaches to therapy with a strong emphasis on disease prevention and optimizing wellness. Using clinical nutrition, botanical medicine and homeopathy in addition to conventional western medicine modalities, naturopaths are able to support and promote the body’s natural healing process and help patients reach their full health potential. Upon successful completion of education, a naturopathic physician must take rigorous professional board exams to be licensed by a state or jurisdiction to practice naturopathic medicine.
To ensure good health: eat lightly, breath deeply, live moderately, cultivate cheerfulness, and maintain an interest in life.

Why Choose a Naturopathic Doctor?
You want a doctor who will treat all of you, not just your illness. As naturopathic doctors, we are trained to treat the whole person. That means we take the time to listen to your complaints, to understand you fully.
You want to treat the root cause of your illness, not just your symptoms. Treating your symptoms is a temporary fix, but does not solve your underlying problems. This could contribute to future symptoms, which we want to prevent.
You want a personalized treatment plan. What works for one person may not work for another. You’ll leave the doctor’s office with a treatment plan that is unique to you, to fit your needs and your body.
You want to actively participate in managing your own health. You will leave feeling empowered to actively participate in your own health.
You have tried all conventional medical options for diagnosing and treating health conditions. We have a wide variety of treatment tools that we can utilize, besides prescription drugs. We can work with you to determine treatment tools that will best fit your needs.
Would you like to take your health to the next level?
… let’s see how I can help you!
My approach to care.
The goal of this first visit is to understand your current health challenges, history and goals. As a result, you will leave with a clear picture of how we will work together to support you in your return to radiant health.
Each visit with me will be as unique as each patient. Rather than just suppressing your symptoms, I will work to identify underlying causes of illness, and develop personalized treatment plans to address them. Your first visit should last about 60 minutes, and all follow up visits about 45 mins. This gives us enough opportunity for me to understand your health journey, and to help me better understand the underlying factors to your health.
