Your first appointment will be an hour long. During that time I will ask you a lot of questions about your life and your health history. My goal is to get to know you and understand your health as completely as possible. At the end of the first visit, I will provide a full treatment plan. Follow up visits will be 45 minutes. We will review any lab work completely and we will check-in regarding the past treatment plan. I will adjust your treatment plan as necessary.

The frequency and duration of follow-up care is different for everyone. Some factors that influence your number of follow ups include: your lifestyle and habits, your commitment to care, the extent to which you take an active role in your health, your constitutional makeup, and the severity of your condition. 

I am licensed to prescribe prescription drugs, but I only choose to do so when it is absolutely necessary. I am unable to prescribe schedule drugs in the state of Washington. If you are seeking a prescription for a schedule drug, please consult a local MD.

I do! I am trained to perform lab work, order necessary lab work, as well as interpret the results and provide treatment. In most cases, I will recommend using a local laboratory that is covered by insurance. If you are cash pay, I provide cheaper lab option to reduce the cost for you. 

With an effort to deliver comprehensive and innovative care, I also use a series functional laboratories. In many cases these labs are considered out of network with some insurance plans. In these cases, we advise you pay for the labs out of pocket before sending the results in and ask your insurance to reimburse you. This will ensure you get the best prices for your lab work.

Naturopathic physicians are trained to know when to refer you to a specialist for further evaluation and treatment. If imaging is necessary, I will send you for the necessary imaging whether that be a x-ray, a bone scan, MRI, CT, or ultrasound. 

If you are going to invest in your health, quality is key. The supplements I recommend are the highest quality, which come from companies with production practices I have vetted and know to be trustworthy. I recognize that the price of high quality supplements can be very hard on the budget, so I will always help prioritize what would be the best value for your budget.
